The first time I drove an EV on a long regional trip, I spent more time planning around charging stops than I did actually enjoying the journey. Which chargers were fast enough? Would I make it to the next town? Where was worth staying that wasn't a 40-minute detour?

The information existed, but it was scattered across apps, forums, Facebook groups and guesswork.

That's why Electric Journeys exists.

What we do

Electric Journeys creates expertly curated EV road trips across Australia. Every route we publish has been researched around real-world driving conditions, not ideal range figures, not manufacturer claims.

We plan the charging strategy, find the best places to stay, identify the local experiences worth your time, and package it into a single, practical itinerary you can follow with confidence.

Who this is for

Electric Journeys is built for Australian EV drivers who want to travel further and explore more, without the planning anxiety that still comes with long-distance electric travel.

Whether you own a Tesla, a BYD, a Polestar or anything in between, our routes are designed around the real charging infrastructure available today, not what might exist in five years.

Why Queensland first

We're starting with South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales because it's one of the most compelling EV touring regions in the country, coastal drives, hinterland escapes, wine regions, and a charging network that makes longer journeys genuinely viable right now.

More regions are coming. But we'd rather give you routes that are genuinely excellent than twenty that are half-researched.
